I need to remove old stain and already have RAD stripper and brightener and a good available day to do it tomorrow. However, I won't be able to follow up with the actual stain until 4-8 weeks after. Would it be OK to strip and brighten today even if I can't stain until then, or would it be better to just wait until I'm ready to do everything at once? If I stripped/brightened now, would I essentially need to clean/brighten again or would a light power wash suffice? I live in Atlanta, GA, so it'll be plenty hot and humid for the next several weeks.

Thanks!

4-8 weeks seems like a long time after prep. You may need to use the cleaner and brightener again. Really depends on how dirty and if it starts to gray.

Similar question. I cleaned the deck very thoroughly, but it keeps raining with a short thunder storm each day and now I'm going out of town. Can you be more specific on what to look for as to whether it's too dirty to stain once we get two dry days in a row? Also, I'm considering using the rainy days as an excuse to power wash the house, which I guess I should have done first. If I power wash the house, will that basically guarantee that I need to reclean the deck???

If you pressure wash the house than just rinse of the deck when done and you will be okay for another week or so.
