Uneven finish using TWP Semi-Solid Pro on new wood

I just stained my deck yesterday with TWP semi-solid pro. The wood is treated (pine I think) and I waited 7 months for it to cure before staining. I also did the Gemini kit for cleaning and brightening and waited a week before staining. I used a foam applicator. After the first coat I wasn't liking the results as it appeared like the stain did soak into the wood but was too transparent and very uneven and the color wasn't popping. So I decided to let the stain dry and I applied a second coat. The color is much deeper now, but I'm definitely still seeing some unevenness in the finish and glossy areas which makes me think I overdid it. Any advice for what to do? Should I just live with it and then reapply in 12-18 months? I've attached some photos too. Thanks!
