Need advise on deck stain.

I recently moved to a house which has old deck, it seems it was never stained or painted.

6 weeks back I applied Olympic deck cleaner, and did power wash, but could not decide if I should apply semi transparent or solid stain.

wood also has some scratches/holes, should I apply wood filler, if yes, which one please.

I believe I need to apply wood brightener before I apply any stain, but please help which type of stain I should apply

I am attaching the pictures of my deck.

Thanks

Rahul

You will need to redo the prep. Use the Restore A Deck Cleaner and Brightener Kits. Never use a wood filler when using a semi-transparent stain. It will not blend. Stain with one of these brands:

Semi-transparent. Either oil or water-based as long as it is one of the top 6.
