Has anyone tried Petrawood? It is supposed to 'petrify' the wood to protect it with a one time application.

Never used that brand but have used other products that claim the same thing. Not sure if they really do work or not. Even if you do use them, you will still need to clean and prep the exposed wood as these products will do nothing for UV protection and general discoloration.
