1. State you live in : Columbia, South Carolina

2. Full Shade, Partial Shade, or Full Sun : 70% full sun and 30% shade

3. Type of Wood : Pressure Treated

4. Mold or Mildew Issues : None

5. Main Issues with Previous Stains: None

Replaced the wood on a floating dock and walkway located on a lake March 14, 2014 with pressure treated 2 X 6 treated lumber. My concern is that starting in about 7-10 days the pollen will begin in mass where it looks like snow and than it starts getting hot 90's - 100's June - September. I am concerned if I wait 3 - 12 months that the boards will dry/shrink and crack to much do to the heat and of course the sun.My question is what would be the best product and time frame application for my situation?

You need to wait otherwise you will need to redo the deck within a year. Best to wait 3 months then try a stain like Armstrong Clark.
