While this is not really a deck I used new pressure treated deck boards to make a walkway from the driveway to my front door. I lagged sleepers to the old broken, nowhere near level 1950's concrete walkway and deck screwed the 5/4x6 boards lengthwise for 38" (for ease of removing snow) and also had to cover the 6 13" tall steps with new stringers and 8 steps as well, former residents must have been giants. Steps and "boardwalk" have been down for at least 2 months now and we are having 30-40 degree nights and sunny days 2 or 3 at a time in Plattsburgh NY, 160 miles north of Albany NY on the canadian border. Was planning on some stain with maybe an anti skid element in it. What are your thoughts about the anti skid and should i let it winter before doing the job? Oh there is any where from 1.5 to 4" under the boardwalk so air, water, critters cans run through... sorry.

Thank You for your time and opinion.

Thank you for the reply I will check it out.

After reading most of what is there I guess a stain of almost the same color as it is new would be what I want other than the anti skid, Ill just have to live with the slipperiness of the walk. As I really dont want to paint it.
