Deck Stain Questions and Answers

I have a wooden swingset 4 years old that I never had time to stain. It came prestained from the factory but that has faded considerably over the years. I assume the process for staining this is like for a deck ie: strip it and then stain it. Just curious if there's something different I need to know for playsets.
