Deck Stain Questions and Answers

I just pressure washed my deck. Most of it is pressure treated pine and that is fine. Some of the railing components are cedar. Around the knots on the cedar boards is white fuzz. I think it is due to too close/too strong pressure washing. Do I need to do anything to these spots prior to staining to ensure that they will accept the stain well?
