I am about to install an under deck ceiling on a two story deck. There will be a patio underneath the deck that we will stone. There will be a spa and landscaped area connecting to the patio. Under the deck there will be a ceiling fan and recessed lighting. Before I encapsulate the underside of the deck is there any stain/treatment you would recommend to prolong the life of the deck that I should apply?
