- I need advice on fence stain. The contractor I hired recommended to opaque stain paints that were on your worst list
- 1. IL
- 2. Late morning to afternoon sun
- 3. Not sure
- 4. Fading & sone Mildew Issues
- 5. Originally used Thompson deck stain but it's been probably 10 years ago and it's held up well until recently

Hi, are there any stains you recommend that can be purchased locally in IL? It appears both of these ship 5 gallon pails for free but any single gallons are around $13 ea. for shipping. Return shipping is paid by the customer. Does this site have any affiliations with the stains recommended? Thank you.

Another quick question... If I use the TWP 1500, do you recommend 1 coat, or the wet on wet 2nd coat?
