We are in the process of buying a new home.  One of the selling features was a gorgeous new redwood deck that had been installed.

We passed the house today, so of course I had to go walk around the outside again and I was shocked to see the change in the deck.  It's only been one week since I last saw it, and we've had light rain but nothing much.

Can the deck really change that much in just one week?  Or has the seller changed out the boards?

I highly doubt anyone would change out the boards. Looks like mildew. It can be cleaned and brightened to remove.

Ok thank you.

What products would you say are the best to use to clean, brighten?  And would you then suggest we use the Timber Oil product to protect it?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm new to this. Never had a wooden deck before.

Use the Restore A Deck cleaning kits for the prep. The TimberOil would work well for the first year or the Armstrong Clark.
