Got two quotes for someone to stain our deck. One guy said he would use a foam applicator with two coats and the other said he would use a pump spayed with one coat. Which would give a better job? Thanks

If you use a pump sprayer you will need to even out the stain with a pad applicator. Either would work as long as it is applied evenly.
