We are at 9000 ft in the Colorado Mountains and built a new home in 2020.  We have several decks, but the back one, which is exposed to the elements is looking bad already, very gray.  The builder used SuperDeck transparent stain.  I have read SuperDeck grays out pretty quickly.  My question is what should I switch to semi-transparent to get more time out of the stain.  The UV's here are horrible.  Also, I have some 2x6 rail caps that need replaced and I cannot get the new wood to get anywhere near the stain color of the older deck.  I have used cleaner and brightner but have not stripped the old stain off.  Really don't want to sand it as the deck boards are rough sawn.  Any advise is appreciated.

Strip and brighten all, and for the best UV protection and the most uniform appearance, use the TWP Semi-Solid. See here: https://www.twpstain.com/twp-semi-solid-stain-5-gallon-low-voc
