My front porch and deck are treated lumber and are 30 years old! We have used various Cabot products on an every other year basis .  They keep changing their products. One that worked great was Cabot clear solutions. Oil based and used for many years, it got banned in Illinois because of VOCs. Then they went to a water based deck and siding stain in natural. If worked fine for an every other year application. Now, it is no longer available. Any reviews on Cabot low VOV natural wood toned sealer? In terms of availability in my area, not much else. Farm and Fleet and Ace Hardware have the Cabot natural toned wood sealer. We prefer the natural look. Cabot left a brownish color but all of the grain was visible.  If I could afford composite decking, I would get it! My deck and front porch are huge and the realtor says we would never recoup the cost. Any feedback on the Cabot product is appreciated. I will need about 4 1/2 gallons.

Cabot used to make great stains until they sold out to Zinser 15 years ago. Now they are crap. Look for a better brand. https://www.deckstainhelp.com/the-5-best-deck-stain-reviews-and-ratings/
