I have a less than year old unstained Pressure treated pine deck. The deck is located in Northern Virginia. It has full southern sky exposure, without any tree shade and will see both harsh sun through the day and harsh winter too.
Can you please provide recommendations for a stain that would last long. I am not that much interested in the wood grain showing through.

I would like to know your review/recommendation on Sikkens Cetol DEK finish. I liked its finish and the fact that it looks like hardwood after proper application.

Other products that I am considering are Armstrong and Clark and TWP 1500.

Thanks!

I'm in Northern Va too, we have used BEHR, Superdeck, Cabot, and others recommended by Home Depot, Lowes, Tart Lumber. None performed well. The worst, BEHR is almost impossible to get rid of. I am usually impatient and want to go buy something and put it on same day. Not this time, I just ordered some samples from Defy. Hopefully I can wrap this project up by June 2nd, but if I can't that's okay, it pays to be patient after the many hours removing the crap that Ive put down.

I would look at the Armstrong clark in one of the semi-solid tints. They have a higher amount of pigment and will give better UV resistance.
