I have a one-month old redwood deck in California/bay-area. I have narrowed down my search to Preserva Wood oil based stain and sealer. Now, in the process of trying it out on some scrap wood that was left over. Any thoughts on this product?

Have any of the Preserva Wood stain products been reviewed in the past? This is being recommended to me for a current project.

We have limited experience with this particular stain. Only have seen it after a few times after it had failed and never applied it. Sorry.

I just did part of a fence in TWP 1500 and part with Pacific Redwood Preservawood. I liked them both. I really like the color of the Preservawood Pacific Redwood. It will do very well on new wood. It has significant pigment but looks very natural on. I really like the color.
The preservawood goes on well with a pump sprayer. I also used TWP 1500 California Redwood. This is a bit more golden yellow and went on best by brushing. The preservawood pacific redwood is a slight reddish color. I am going to try to post a picture.

What would you recommend for a brand new untreated redwood fence - to seal with a stain? Would like to enhance the look of the wood or keep it the same - depending on which product is better - a clear or a stain....
I am completely overwhelmed when searching for best stains and i am hiring a handyman

Use a semi-transparent stain. Clear will not help with UV protection and graying prevention. Try TWP or Armstrong Clark.
