Cuprinol water-cleanup oil semi stain?

Cuprinol has been off the market for years. I believe it was an oil emulsified water based stain. This may be a good substitute:

Will a deck cleaner damage a recently stained finish?

I do not believe a deck cleaner will hurt the TWP but I would ask the manufacturer to make sure. Stay away from deck cleaners that have bleach.

DECK STAINING NEXT WEEKEND

Stain pads are better IMO. Not a big fan of rollers. You can pick stain pads up locally. Typically made by Shurline and Padco.

Sanding Question after stripping deck

I would not use more then 60 grit paper. I would also lightly clean the deck after to remove the sand dust. This will help the stain absorb better.

mineral salts to pick up extra oily stain?

Not mineral salts but mineral spirits or paint thinner. Wipe down with rags and dispose of rags properly. Away from heat and sun!
