I just finished staining the horizontal surfaces of my deck (deck boards and stair steps) with TWP 100. I was going to wait until next year to stain the vertical surfaces (rails, rail spindles, and posts). The new stain looks so good that I'm considering doing the rails and spindles later this summer after this morning's stain is fully absorbed and dried. Finally, my question: Will using a quality deck cleaner (not a stripper) on the rails and rail spindles damage the finish on the recently stained surfaces?

I do not believe a deck cleaner will hurt the TWP but I would ask the manufacturer to make sure. Stay away from deck cleaners that have bleach.
