I need to remove some Arbor coat semi-transparent stain and top coat. the deck is on a second floor. Even if I use a pump sprayer and stripper I'm afraid of getting overspray on a Trex deck, windows and untreated pine siding which are all below. Also will I need to scrub brush or sand the deck after I have applied the stripper. I realize that I will have to apply a brightener to the deck. What will neutralize the overspray that lands on the Trex, windows and siding below?
Finally I'm looking for a solid stain that can be reapplied without a lot of fuss. does such a thing exist?
The BM Arborcoat cannot be stripped off. You will need to sand this brand off for full removal so your concerns are not an issue.
We use the Flood Solid stains for most decks that we do.
