Stripped and cleaned my deck but am left with darky patchy spots

I ust stripped some stain off my deck and used a wood cleaner/ brightner afterwards— both were a Behr products. I noticed that I missed some spots the next morning so I spot treated with stripper and brightened again. After it dried, only those areas that were treated a second time were very very dark, giving the deck a patchy, camouflage appearance. Any suggestions on how to remedy this?
