Finished stripping the old stain. I had to do a bit of sanding and I am now ready to apply the Restore-a-deck brightener. The instructions suggest to wait 48 hours before staining. I will apply TWP1500 stain.
The thing is, there is rain forecasted in the next few days and probably can't get 3 "dry days" in a row for the foreseeable future.
What is the best strategy? When they say, wait 48 hours before applying the stain, the mean 48 "dry" hours?
So bottom line, do I need to wait 48 hours to let the wood dry thoroughly before staining? And does it matter that it rains over the brightener?

Does not matter if rains after brightening. If a heavy rain, we always wait 48 hours. If a light rain and weather is warm, we wait about 24 hours.
