I did the two step restore a deck process. Pressure washing the cleaner step 1, then spraying on the brightner and spraying off with garden hose. As the wood is drying I am noticing a fuzzy appearance to the hand rails and floor. This deck is 2 years old and has not been stained before. The restore a deck worked, but am not sure about the fuzz. Do I need to remove this before staining, if so what is the best way?

Fuzzies can happen when the wood is extremely dried or neglected and the cleaner or stripper has to remove a deep layer of wood cells. Many times it will not show when stained. Similar as if wet with water. if you cannot see the fuzzies when wet with water then the rarely show when stained. When we have to remove the fuzzies we use a floor buffer with a sanding pad. Very easy and just takes a few minutes.
