Hello. If I were to purchase some Armstrong Clark semi-solid stain how long can it sit in my basement, waiting for the right day, before I need to stir it before applying?

I'm applying stain to an old deck so I assume it is going to behave differently compared with a new deck. What should I expect? My coverage rate to drop by 25%? Should I apply a second coat within 30 days?

Thanks

You always have to strip before use. Unopened, I believe the stain will last many years as long as it is stored well.

Yes the coverage will be less on older wood. AC though spread farther then most brands. 200 sq. feet per gallon should be close.
