Staining a deck *above* a walk out

I have 6 rental properties I built over the last couple of years.  All of them have the same layout with a covered deck (green wood) that sits above a walkout basement. It's time for them to get sealed.

The deck is very visible from beneath-there is siding on most of 3 sides, a sliding door and a concrete patio beneath the deck. I'm concerned about using solid color stain because it will drip through and be unsightly (and I'd rather not paint the underside either).  Is there a long lasting sealer and/or transparent sealer that might fit the bill?

I welcome any thoughts/suggestions about how any of you would attack this.  Thanks!
Matt

PS: I like the look of solid or dark stains but as these houses are all different colors, I'd like to use the same, neutral color to simplify things (although maybe I'm over-thinking this and most dark stains would go well with them...?)

@administrator thanks.  My concern is that the color dripping thru will be unsightly.  Maybe the semi transparent won't be noticeable?

It will show drip marks no matter what with any color and honestly, it happens all the time with no one caring. The only way to avoid would be to stain the underside.
