2 years ago we purchased a home with a deck that was at least 20 years old. The owner told us the deck had not been stained in 5 years, but other than dirt, it looks great. We do want to treat it with a stain that will not peel. I thought I wanted a semi-transparent stain, but I read that they can peel. What stain should I use?
