[Solved] Siding Stain Options

Deck Location State: North Carolina
Full Sun, Partial Shade, Full Shade: Full Sun in Am, Shade in Afternoon
Wood Type: Cypress
Mold or Mildew Issues: Yes, North Side and Corners
The reason for Previous Stain Failure: Time
Previous Coating? Semi-Transparent / Semi Solid

House is 11 years old, has original Semi - Transparent stain on 70% of the Cypress siding, parts were restrained in Semi Solid. Entire house has been pressure washed/ parts sanded in areas that had semi solid.

Not a deck...but looking for suggestions on type of stain that is best for Cypress that will keep it protected without making the house appear cedar/orange or darker.
