I live in Colorado, this time of year the deck gets full sun for a few hours in the morning and mostly shade after that. The deck was just completed and I am anxious to get it stained. I bought Superdeck transparent as recommended by the contractor that built the deck. The application instructions say between 40 - 95F. This weekend will see highs in the mid 50s and lows in the low 30s, but it will be dry and low humidity. After that a week or more of chances for rain in the afternoon. I'm afraid if I don't do it now it could be a couple weeks before I get a chance. How long does the window of temperatures between 40 - 95 have to be to apply the stain? The hourly forecast shows about 12 hours above 40 for both Saturday and Sunday.
