New deck clean/stain

Hello,

I live in Colorado. I just had a new deck installed at my house. I used the same company to do the initial clean and stain. They did fine on the construction, but the second group of people who do the service are horrible. The deck faces southeast and gets sun from about 9 am to sundown. The company told me to wait 60-90 days before doing the stain/clean, which we waited. When I came home after they were done with the clean and stain I found that the deck was very blotchy. The stain is not even. The temp was in the mid 90's the day they applied the stain and the next. The company claims this happens sometimes with a new install. Question do the attached photos look normal? Or is there a problem with how they applied the stain?
