I am located in Hamilton Ontario. Deck is covered by porch except for stairs. Stairs are pressure treat, porch decking is cedar.
Day#1: Used Behr#63 All in one wood cleaner on both stairs and cedar decking
Day#2: Lightly sanded and swept dry deck both stairs and deck
Day#3: Applied Behr transparent oil wood waterproofing on both stairs and deck
Day#5: Rained and water beaded into pools, which I though was good however...
Several days later I am noticing dark marks were water pooled, mostly on the edges all around the covered porch cedar decking, very little on the pressure treated wood stairs. As you can imagine this is very disappointing on a newly constructed porch and I it pains me to think I will need to sand the entire surface after my diligent prepping and following all product directions. Is is possible that I could use the Behr#64 wood stain and finish stripper and then start all over again? Would this remove the dark water marks?

Thank you very much. I am reluctant to try anything else without some backup experience. What would be a better product to use and can I use that brands stripper and brightener to remove the Behr?

I was just in the middle of placing my online order for all of these products, $177 for the full order plus duty included in that. In my cart is the TWP200 Cedarstone 201, RAD stripper/brightener kit and the RAD booster. One question though.. do you think I would need the booster? Also, what is the difference between the RAD stripper/brightener kit and the Gemini RAD kit?
