I am not sure how I do wet on wet second coat application of TWP semi-transparent stain when specs say that it takes 6 hrs to dry to touch and I should do second coat 30 mins after first coat application. Do I walk on the wet deck without leaving any marks or how?

roman, we would apply the TWP to the entire floor then walk back on to the floor to reapply the second coat. Take care to not step in your second coat of stain.

thank you for your response. So I can walk on the first coat of stain that is still wet? Just to explain a little bit about my situation. I used SW Deckscapes waterborne semi transparent stain and it looked horrible. It had overlap marks all over. I didn't like it, stripped it and decided to do it right for once. S I have decided to use TWP 1500 stain that it will give me more time before it dries. So what you are saying is that one can walk on the first coat and just apply the second over it without ending up with foot print blotches at the end as far as I don't step on the second coat? I am just trying to make sure that I understand you correctly. Appreciate your help.

If you move quickly then you should not have any footprints or marks. This is how we have been doing it for many years.
