So this isn't about a "deck", but it is about wood stain and I really need help because I'm really worried I did something dangerous, so please help me!

So apparently I did something stupid, and didn't realize it til my husband got home and now I'm freaking out. So I bought this little porcelain house and it was mounted to a board which I wanted to take it off of. After unsuccessfully trying to get it off with a xacto knife, I boiled some water and dipped the wooden end in there for several minutes at a time. I noticed it bubbling and just figured air was coming out of the wood as water was soaking inside it. anyway... I still couldn't get the glue to melt and pop that off, so I just poured the water out into the sink (possible over some dishes I don't remember now) AND when my husband got home and said "uhhh, that might have been toxic stain. You may have just ruined that pot and whatever you poured the water on" (which I don't remember!) AND whats worse, I ran a few dishes through the dishwasher and I don't know if that was before or after pouring out that pot onto whatever may or may not have been in the sink.) help??? I'm really worried about using the dishes or the pot or even maybe the dishwasher again... I don't know what to do now.

Photos of the wood/stain after the boiling water.

Without knowing what the stain brand is and the chemical makeup of it, there is no way to answer this. I personally would not worry about it as long as you clean and sanitize everything well.
