Our new deck was finished 3 weeks ago. I went to Lowes and bought Olympic Maximum clear waterproofing sealant and we applied that. Only now I read your online deck articles. Do we need to remove the sealant, if possible? Is it too late to put a stain on it to help with the UV rays. Or what is your advice? It gets the very HOT western Ky sun a good part of the day.
