Does anyone have thoughts on DEFY vs OLYMPIC for a clear stain option? olympic has a warranty but defy seems to be pretty popular.
5 year old deck, previously with semi-transparent stain (will be stripping)
I live in Virginia and the deck gets a lot of sun.

i like ease of applying clear right over clear when the need arises vs having stain over stain with semi-transparent. Also my Sherwin Williams semi transparent experience has scared me forever.

SW makes poor stains. All of the stains we suggest can be cleaned and reapplied as needed since they are penetrating stains. They will last much longer than a clear.
