Correct Stain to use on 4 year old deck.

Love your site to begin with.

I have a 4 year old deck outside of Charlotte NC and the floor needs serious help. It had faded and worn so I pressure washed it as you see in picture. Do I need to go further with a stain remover before I apply another stain. I tend to like solid only because it is more covering over the PT wood. If I stripped it I could go with a lighter shade than I use before.

We would apply a stripper and remove as much as possible with the pressure washer. If going with a solid stain again, look at Flood Solid Stains or Cabot.
