Which top quality deck stain product would you recommend using over an Olympic red solid stain likely purchased from Lowe's a few years ago? Am open to oil or water base.
We would like to change color to a dark brown to blend with the house.
Contractors plan to power wash & use cleaner but not strip it.

The reviews for those two stains aren't very inspiring. Are there any higher quality options? Thank you!
