Help! Need advice on deck stain/sealer. 2 years ago had deck sealed using SW product that was tinted a cedar color. That mess peeled in less than 6 mos. They are finally doing something about it.
Currently stripping w/SW Strip-Ease & then will use SW Revive.
I want the best natural looking stain & protestant to use.
- 1. State you live in-Alabama
- 2. Full Shade, Partial Shade, or Full Sun-Part shade but some full pm sun
- 3. Type of Wood-most likely pressure treated pine approx 5 yrs old.
- 4. Mold or Mildew Issues-YES
- 5. Main Issues with Previous Stains-Peeling like crazy in less than 6 mos.

Heres photos of current stripped look & previous stain. I also have covered screened in areas.
Was considering Restore a Deck since it is water based & less likely to peel since we're in rainy season? I'll take your ultimate recommendation. Cost is no object.
