I stripped my 12-year-old cedar deck with Superdeck stripper, brightened with Restore-A-Deck brightener, and then stained with Armstrong Clark driftwood gray. Looks great! Thanks for the advice. It was very helpful. Attached is a photo of the stripped, brightened wood and the final result.

It does look very nice! You did an excellent job! I like all the colors you have going around the house.

Were you happy with the SuperDeck Stripper?

Thank you! I was very happy with the Superdeck stripper. My deck had old Superdeck stain, a couple of applications over the years. The product worked great and quickly. It rinsed off easily and left the wood bare and clean. It didn't take much brushing. My deck is 450 sq. ft. plus steps, rails and trim and I used less than two gallons. HOWEVER, one set of steps had old Behr red stain and it would not come off for anything. Other than that, my results were fantastic!
