Hello kind folks, please offer advice on products to prep and stain the floor of outside balcony in busy New York City neighborhood (high rise apt deck)

Wood type: Preserve Plus ACQ - above ground (pine, I think)
Age: Installed in late June '12
Other info: Wood planks are 5-5.5" wide. Portion gets some morning sunlight: otherwise, shady.

Want to protect it from harsh N.East winter conditions and hot summers... while giving minimal stain color (non orange) and keep the grain showing through.

Thank you for the help.

For this newer deck I would use the Armstrong Clark Stain in the Amber Color.

Many thanks for the info.. would you recommend that I brighten/clean the wood first before using the armstrong stain? Also, do I need to put a sealer on afterwards in prep for snow/rain season in nyc?

Thanks again!

Yes you should clean and brighten first. No need for anything else on top of the Armstrong.
