Last July I used Restore-A-Deck's cleaner/brightener system and then applied TWP 1500 Natural color stain. I was very happy with the look of my deck. However, after enduring a tough winter (NYC suburbs), this spring my deck looks dingy and dull and the nice natural color has faded to a brownish/blackish color. I'm not sure if it just darkened naturally or if a solid layer of mold has formed. I used the RAD cleaner (at 2-3 oz/gallon) and pressure washer (40 deg nozzle) again today by testing a small area and that area did not gain back the natural color I was hoping for. It seems to have gotten rid of some dark, mold color, but the boards now appear blochy and pale. I'm not sure if I lifted the stain right back out of the wood. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Attached are pictures. Thanks.
The middle area of the first photo is where a table was. The stain seems to have held up better there.
Hello I cleaned my deck with RAD , the railing looks great but floor not so good . Did I do something wrong what a heck is a black stuff and the planks I scrubbed and power washed and is still there
Not sure. Did you use a brightener when done? Picture would help.

Can you put brightener on the wet cleaned deck or you must wait until the deck is dry
You can apply brightener to a wet deck. Works better that way.
