Deck Stain Stripping Questions and Answers

Was all set to strip the deck today when I read the bottle of Woodsman (True Value) Ready-To-Use Premium Stripper. It says no rain for 24 hours after stripping and we have rain scheduled for later today. Why does it matter if it will rain later on? Thanks.
