Hi, I'm in N. Texas and our deck is being built now. The builder is using treated yellow pine. It's, October. Should we wait until Spring? What about rain and sleet through the winter?

Thank you for your quick reply!! I did read the article prior to sending my questions but it's confusing when it says 1-12 months. I get that it depends on what you're using on the wood.

if we wait until spring and have a wet winter, will that affect the longevity of the wood?

what are your recommendations for treated yellow pine in N. Tex?
