I initially thought about using Ready Seal on the pine lattice and 2x10 that is below my new ipe deck. The ipe itself has Ipe Oil on it and I intend to try to get the pine to look as close to in color to the ipe as I can get. I determined the color needed from both Ready Seal and TWP that will get me close enough. I was going to use Ready Seal because I was afraid that the TWP would be harder to keep from dripping and streaking but it seems to have a poorer UV rating and might grey faster. The surfaces being done will be vertical but would receive a lot of sun. Would Ready Seal (I think it was Mahogany that I was going to use) hold up ok in this instance? I'm just afraid the TWP1500 might be harder to make look good and can't decide which one to try.

It is not hard to apply TWP ad it does last longer. We would use the TWP if we were doing the work.
