Client who is building new, smooth redwood planters.  Wants them stained black for contrast.   Located in Sacramento CA with intense full summer sun.  Do they first need to weather. . . . It has already been several weeks?   And I am trying to find a product you have suggested which can be tinted.  Semi Solid???

Tried sending photos but would not except pdf. . . . Must be doing something wrong

Best,

Jana

Wait about three months and then clean and brighten the wood. Try Black Walnut in TWP 1500 Series or Armstrong Clark in Black Walnut.
