I recently replaced about a third of my decking with pressure treated wood. The lumber supply store delivered brown pressure treated wood but there are a couple of pieces I used that are far less brown. The original decking is cedar. With these different types of wood ( cedar/ p.t; old/new) - what would be the best treatment or stain to make them all blend in together? I suppose I could paint the boards to blend everything in but I know that paint doesn't last as long.
I live in the Toronto, Canada area.
Thanks for any help or advice you can offer!
Hello, see this about new wood: Staining A New Deck
Wait, prep and stain with Armstrong Clark. Maybe a brown color to help blend.
