Restaining with another brand – Deck Stain Questions and Answers

Live in Canada . Recently stripped messmers UV plus from my PT deck and trainings. Unable to remove 100% especially around knots. What new semi trans can I apply. I want color retention and longevity. Do any the recommended brands need 100% removal? Ie are they only for new wood only? Her are some photos after stripping and whitening

Messmers is easy to strip. What stripper product are you using? Are you pressure washing after? If so, with a gas-powered or electric pressure washer. Electric pressure washers are not efficient enough.

@jpalidwar Sorry for teh delay, it may be the stipper you are using causing this issue. Were you able to complete?
