Thank you so much for this site and forum. I have been reading it for months and have learned a tremendous amount of information.

We recently had to remove two roof decks to replace the roofs beneath them. The decks have been rebuilt and have been "resting" for about 10 months. They started out almost orange, and now are a somewhat weathered looking gray (it was an exceptionally rainy winter), so I assume they're ready for cleaning and staining. I would greatly appreciate any advice about what products to use.

Location: San Francisco

New redwood deck

East facing. Morning sun, evening shade. However, most days are foggy and damp.

Thank you so much for your help!

Prep with Restore A Deck Cleaner/Brightener kits. Stain with Restore A DEck Semi-transparent stain or TWP 1500 Series.
