Hi,
We are in the process of stripping (RAD product)/pressure washing/sanding off our light beige Behr semi-trans premium stain from our >1,000 sq ft PT deck. We are making ok progress with the horizontal surfaces, but stripping the 7" risers (abutted radial-edged deck boards on the vertical with inset lights) is a particular challenge. Of course, the stain has held up GREAT on those! Some are now stripped, some we haven't touched, yet. We will be re-surfacing with RAD "cedar" semi (already purchased).
I'm at the stage where I think going two-tone is a better idea -- the RAD on the boards, and I assume with a "solid" stain on the risers. Do you have a product you could recommend that can be applied on the risers that would provide good coverage to both, the stripped wood and the wood with the existing light beige (cleaned and with some sanding).
I am in Canada -- freeze/thaw
Many thanks!
Yes, a two-toned deck would be best. Use the Flood Solid Stains for this.
Thank you so much!
