New red cedar deck kiln dried.
If I use Armstrong or Timber stains, can I use twp 1500 in the future without stripping.
The reason is I would prefer to use twp but since the wrc is new you recommend the other brands.
Or can I just clean the wood and use twp now because I'm afraid of the wood splitting or weathering and causing damage. Thank You.

Would be best to strip if you switch but both are easy to remove. We do not use TWP on new wood anymore. It just does not dry very well and looks blotchy on brand new wood.

So if I use the Armstrong Clarke product will I need to chemically clean it before staining to remove the glaze?

Also is their stain a clean and recoat as needed without stripping?

Yes you always need to prep to remove mill glaze. You can clean and recoat AC and you can also easily strip it if ever needed.
