Had a pressure treated deck put up last year in September. Going on 10 months up. Never stained or sealed. I was told to leave the deck alone to let the wood dry out so it would accept a stain better. How damaging is it to the wood if we wait another 10 months? We live in michigan. Cold winters and hot humid summers

You should do it sooner rather than later.

We are going to move forward with it this year.  However my wife is set on the cape cod grey semi solid. We are not worried about if we have to do it again in 2 years but my concern is the peeling before. It says it's a semi solid. Is this a terrible idea? Any stain color does not match any decor or color outside we have. Grey and white is visual appealing though. Between and rock a hard place aka the wife.

The TWP should not peel.
