Hello, I need advice on retaining my Redwood deck. I would like to know the best stain to use. My intent is to pressure wash and them  sand before reapplying deck stain. the deck is about 4 years old.

State: New Mexico 7000 feet altitude

Shade: morning sun on east side; afternoon sun on west side. Otherwise it is under a porch roof.

Redwood

no mold/mildew

last stained 2 yrs ago with Penofin Redwood stain

Prep with Restore A Deck Stripper/Brightener Kits. Stain with Restore A Deck Wood Stains or Armstrong Clark.

would I sand the deck as well? Before or after using restore a deck cleaner/brightner?

Sand after cleaner but before brightener.
